Specialties
I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP)
and Certified Mental Health + Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMHCS).
My passion is helping adults overcome problematic symptoms, negative self-talk/ image, and difficult life experiences. My approach incorporates cognitive techniques (addressing how we think), neuroscience (teaching what we know about the brain), self-compassion (increasing kindness), somatic tools (tuning into our body), and hands-on coping tools (strengthening our ability to self-regulate)
It seems like your mind is stuck in a loop of worried thoughts and nothing you have tried will shut if off. Your concerns are real, but it doesn't feel like you have control of them anymore. You feel more easily overwhelmed and "on edge". Has it begun impacting your sleep, functioning, relationships, or happiness? I can help.
It has been a long time since you felt connected to yourself, your interests, or the world around you. The negative voice in your mind seems constant and feelings of guilt/ shame feel deserved.
Have you started to feel like things are never going to change? With the right support, they can.
Big life changes, transitions, and losses feel like they keep being thrown at you, one after another. Your reserves feel empty and you're overwhelmed. It may feel like there is too much on your plate to even address how you are feeling and you aren't sure what to do. I'm ready to help you find the path forward.
You may be feeling unheard by family or friends. Perhaps you're unsure if your romantic relationship is working for you, or you seek more confidence in relationships throughout your life. You may feel very stuck in discontent, or that negative past experiences keep coming back to haunt you. I can help.
Does it feel like the world wasn't made to work for your brain? Or maybe that -no matter how hard you try- it is incredibly hard to stay on top of everything, not feel disappointed in yourself, or like you have to compensate for how you do things? If you've reached a point where you are ready to learn why and make a plan for things to feel easier- let's do it.
Did you know that our gut is considered our "second brain" and has a major impact on our mood, motivation, functioning, and overall feelings of wellness? Taking a deeper look at our sleep, energy, focus, movement, and eating patterns/ habits can offer a more complete picture of our health and ways that we can support long-term, positive mental health.
Are you ready to launch a private practice and have no idea where to start? Or did you take the leap and feel that you could use some guidance on how to reach the success and balance you've dreamed of?
I have had the privilege of supervising therapists in a variety of settings and am a proud Co-Mentor of Therapists In the Wild Group Mentorship Program.
